The NCRC Hawks Club was founded in 1978 by an ambitious group of people who shared a common passion for flight. We are an open community of Radio Controlled enthusiasts focused on perpetual learning, comradery, and model safety. Thoughtfully, as our club grew, we have migrated to a premium flying field, in the north canton area, as an effort to maintain safety and convenience. Our club currently accepts and retains RC pilots from all skill levels. Peruse this site for more details on learning and membership.
This multi-faceted hobby has an enormous amount to offer, regardless of skill level or income. To get a general idea, there are dozens of forums, that are home to millions of individuals learning, sharing and celebrating radio controlled hobbies. If your worried about commitment, there are aircraft available that can even go from the box to the flying field.
Literally, one could fly a micro-cargo plane in ones living room, only to be found later, punching smoke filled holes in the sky with a giant-scale aircraft, or taking command of a silent sailplane with the sun on your face and an Iced tea within reach. Thousands upon thousands of models and friends await your passion, wonder, and creativity.
